How Does A Peanut Shelling Machine Work

The peanut shelling machine consists of a frame, fan, rotor, single-phase motor, screen (large and small), feeding hopper, vibrating screen, V-belt pulley and its transmission V-belt, etc..

After the machine is operating normally, the peanuts are quantitatively, evenly and continuously put into the hopper. The peanut shells are broken under the repeated impact, friction and collision of the rotor. Under the rotating wind pressure and impact of the rotor, the peanut kernels and broken peanut shells pass through a screen with a certain aperture (a large-hole screen is used for the first threshing of peanuts, and a small-hole screen is replaced for the second shelling of small peels after cleaning). At this time, the peanut shells and kernels are affected by the blowing force of the rotating fan, and the light peanut shells are blown out of the machine. The peanut kernels are screened by the vibrating screen to achieve the purpose of cleaning.

Tips:

There are also requirements for the dryness and wetness of peanuts, that is, peanuts cannot be too dry or too wet. Too dry, the peanuts are more likely to break; too wet, the shelling speed will slow down. In winter, the peanuts stored in rural areas are generally drier. In order to make them suitable for dryness and wetness, the following methods can be used: spray about 15 kg of warm water evenly on 100 kg of peanuts, cover with plastic film for about 10 horas, and then dry in the sun for about 1 hour before shelling. In other seasons, it only takes about 6 hours to cover with plastic film, and the rest of the operations are the same.

The solution to the increase in peanut shells is to move the motor downward to tighten the fan belt and increase the air volume. When peeling, the peanuts should be fed evenly and in appropriate amounts, and iron filings, stones and other debris are not allowed to mix in to prevent the peanut kernels from being broken or causing mechanical accidents.
